(More customer reviews)This came standard on my M&P 15 when I bought it, and so far, I'm pleased with its performance. The plastic originally felt pretty cheap, and even though I'm a magpul fan, I was skeptical about how it would hold up compared to a metal quad-rail. It attaches easily and fits well, and even without a vertigrip provides a comfortable grip on the gun. The MOE rails are a little odd to attach though, and don't sit all that nicely in the slots. Also, real estate is limited on this handguard, and those with long scopes will be out of luck as there is no option for mounting rails in the 12 o'clock position.
It's a nice hand guard, and it certainly does its job, but if you're a tacticool person who likes lots of electronics on their gun, this is not the best option. For the rest of us, who just need a few attachments such as a vertigrip, a light, and maybe a laser, this is a really nice option at a reasonable price. Its modular nature and ergonomic style are a real pleasure to use. Excellent option the casual or home-defense shooter.

(More customer reviews)The 1/3N battery cell is rated for 50,000 hours on setting 7, and about 100,000 hours on the lower settings. Be warned the 1/3N or 2L76 cell is hard to find at local stores.

There's a M3 and a ML3, the M3 is designed primarily for night vision displays and uses a special lens coating along with different circuitry. It always remains ON even at the "off" setting which just makes the dot always visible to a NVD.

The ML3 is designed for non-NVD use and has special coatings to reduce reflectivity.

The M3/ML3 comes with a special rubber jacket to protect it from shock and dings. The 2 MOA dot is small and recommended if you use a magnifier. The 4 MOA still works well with a magnifier but is faster to use for CQB.

I used a 52x optic to examine the 4 MOA dot in my ML3 with the 1 MOA center dot in my EOTech 512. The difference wasn't very noticeable at 100 yd.

Make sure to buy a good quality mount for the Aimpoint, and I recommend the LaRue LT-150.

The new solid pin simply fell througn the sight mounting hole instead of fitting tightly.

This is a REAL Magpul PRS stock and is Gen 2 (rubber butt pad and black oxidized adjustment rods), none of that Airsoft nonsense.

These brought the sight up to the perfect level, still have cheek comfort but the goggles dont hit the gun. Very sturdy with no wobble what so ever. Highly recomended to anyone looking to bring their red dot or holo sight up just enough to clear goggles.
