THIS IS NOT a gripe against Sportsman's Guide .
BARSKA OPTICS is the manufacturer of this product. Their part number for this riflescope is:AC10366.
In the past three weeks, I've received two of these scopes. Both were defective! Scope #1 was returned for exchange, #2 is the replacement.
The Side Focus/Parallax adjustment (the PRIMARY selling point for me) is sloppy, inaccurate, and unacceptably limited in range, rendering these scopes virtually unusable.
Scope #1: Only focused between 14.5 and 81 yards.
#2: Only focuses between 17.3 and 114 yards.
They should focus to infinity. If the problem is fixed, I'll buy several. The price is unbeatable!
