Crosman R71, Clear and Black airsoft gun Review

(More customer reviews)OK, so this was my first gun I ever got.I bought it at wal-mart.First off this was very surprising.I expected a crappy little gun, but this was nothing like that.It is clear but i used electric tape and taped it all up now it looks like a real MP5.

Pros:

-Lightweight
-Good rate of fire (5 bb's/sec 300bb/min)
-Magazine holds almost 500 bb's
-Good fps for the price (I've clocked it at up to 255 fps)
-Comes with silencer
-Removable stock
-Looks impressive

Cons:

-No scope (The scope it the magazine)
-The bb's sometimes get clogged up while they're dropping into the gun to shoot and you have to shake the gun.
-Not very good range (25-50 ft)
-Can be pretty inaccurate
-Only uses .12 (.20 will drop 10 ft in front of the gun)

Overall I would recommend this gun to a beginner, but only as a first gun or maybe a second.

Currently I have the Well R6E M4A1, and I would recommend it.But it's $100.

(More customer reviews)I love this gun. It has a good firing rate and it goes over 400 feet per second (fps). The best part is that you dont have to wind up shake or do anything to the mag, it just fires. Speaking of the magazine a speed loader is a neccesity because it comes with this long tube and a pole to push down the bbs into the magazine. The gun has a heavy gearbox but it is still sort of light. The sight are adjustable, but they are very hard to adjust. Overall this is a great gun.

(More customer reviews)You can count on Crosman Pellets for outstanding consistancy and accuracy.I cannot vouch for competetive target shooters but for inexspensive fun these pellets cannot be beat.Their design results in maximum velocity and tragectory and can accentuate the maximum fun quotient for any gun they are fired out of!Also, buyiing in bulk seems like an excellent way to get the most fun for your money and have some left over for pizza and soda afterwards!

(More customer reviews)i got this gun for my birthday and so far the only problems ive had are that the mag is gravity fed, and ammo. the mag is kinda easy to load and ONLY USE HIGH POLISHED BBs
P.S. also the gun is mostly plastic (no metal gear box but it is replaceible) and the gun looks like a thompson without the mag.
