(More customer reviews)I got this gun because everyone shoots with a sight now including the military and my son needs to get used to shooting with a sight.As long as you pump it for your son or daughter you will be fine and should they be using it without you?Probably not, so I consider it a plus.
Pros:
Pleasantly surprising accuracy and adjustment with scope
Cheap
Classic Look
Hard to pump (no preteen can do it)
Cons:
Too Wide a Barrel (bbs will sometimes roll out if pointed down)
Very Heavy (heavier than an M-16)
I don't know how durable it is but the construction seems solid.Either the barrel is too wide or my bbs are too small. This is a serious disadvantage and affects accuracy often.
