When I opened it up I was suprised...the look, solid feel, and finish were better than what I expected. It mounted on my AR easily with out any issues and the finish matches up with my AR perfectly. It also gives the AR a more balanced "Military like" look over traditional rings. One thing is for sure, my other AR is getting one also. Very pleased. Excellent buy....
