(More customer reviews)I bought two packs of these clips, hoping they would work on my old Ishapor 2A rifle.I was surprised at the quality.Considering the price, I thought they would probably be made of cheap, small gauge sheet metal, but I was very pleasantly surprised.They are sturdy and well made.They hold rounds securely and feed flawlessly in my rifle.They are better than the ones originally issued with the rifle.This is an excellent product.

Muzzelite Bullpup - Marlin 60 Tubular FED Rifle Stock Review

(More customer reviews)The Marlin Model 60 is arguably the most popular and prolific 22 rifle ever made. The fantastic Ruger 10/22 gets a lot of attention, but the low-cost Model 60 was the first 22 rifle for many shooters. The 1960's tubular feed magazine is easy to use, but it gives the Marlin 60 a very old-fashion rifle appearance. If you're looking to make your aging Model 60 look like a tactical rifle then the Muzzelite Bullpup stock is a decent option.

Simply remove the Marlin's trigger, action and barrel from the original stock and drop them into the Muzzelite. It's really that simple! There are only a few little issues that keep this stock from getting five stars in my review:

1) Several of the stock seams don't seal properly because there aren't enough screws/bolts holding the two halves of the stock together as if they are one piece.

2) There are no front weaver rails (although a handle-mounted top rail is included).

3) The new trigger might require some work/break-in time depending on how well your particular stock was machined.

The only other option for a tactical-style stock for the Marlin 60 is the ATI Fibreforce (Dragunov-style) stock ... but I personally like the bullpup look more.

(More customer reviews)I ignored the other rear sight mount warnings of coming loose thinking the people didn't mount it correctly or with no lock tight on the threads. I was incorrect. I took it out today and not only did it come loose rocking forward and back, but the point of aim was WAY left. So much so that I had to close within 20 yds. of the target to hit. Usually when I mount a scope I take great care to ensure uniform tightening of screws to minimize scope adjustments. This is the first time in 40 some years of mounting a scope was it had it this far off. I could only assume that the mounting rail was not co-linear to the sight mounting lug that screwed down. I put two full rotations on the windage screw to bring it in at 50 yds. Which means there probably is a parallax error where it will be crossing over line of sight at 100 yds and be way off again. I then noticed after 10 rds there was considerable rocking fore and aft probably 1mm or so. This means the materials are way too weak for the physical principals of this mounting system. Either the rail flexes or the screws mush down or both from recoil. Do not buy any type of rear sight system that mounts in this fashion UNLESS it is made of high grade steel, then it might possibly stay. I will be looking for one that utilizes the rear sight dovetail as the mounting feature. The scope is probably ok, the rings are soft aluminum similar to teh mount material and will probably loosen over time as well. DON'T BUY THIS SETUP!

(More customer reviews)I received this mount with the bolt.Replacing the bolt was a cinch. Drilling was easy at bolt, but I warn you, the holes for the mount have ZERO ROOM for error. The instructions state to use a press. Buy extra bits! You will break if they do not dull. All in all, I spent an extra ten bucks on bits and cutting oil ( I can not stress its need enough!!!!!!!) The seller I bought the mount and bolt from is awesome in all respects I dealt with them for.

Thick padding is sufficient to protect my Glock, if it falls.The zipper has its own locking mechanism and it came with two Keys.Yup, you read it right.The zipper is locking and I did not notice it right away. You can insert and turn the key in the somewhat hidden slot in the zipper and it will not zip open.Now, that is great because I do not need to use a plastic case and a padlock in transporting my gun to comply with the California Law. I am very happy with this purchase I am planning to buy three more (probably, the 11-inch size) for my Sig P220ST, Beretta 92FS Vertec and Walther P22.

(More customer reviews)"Normally, I'll give most things a chance. I don't mind hard work & am willing to put in more than the average amount of work to get something installed if the end result is worth it. This is one of the few exceptions where my time was worth far more than the product.

First off, you won't be able to drill the holes in the bolt/receiver with a hand drill. You need a drill press. Fortunately, I do & that was the easy part of things.

Then tapping seemed to be doing fine & was much easier than I expected (this was my first clue that something wasn't right). However, only too late did I discover that the bit provided for the hole was a tiny bit too large for the tap (yes, I used the smallest bit provided in the kit). So, the tapping didn't barely make any threads for the provided bolts to attach to. I ended up having to go to the next size up & purchase a new tap & bolts (which I had to custom cut to size). This is also where I discovered that the metal of the barrel is the hardest to tap that I have ever encountered (I've tapped my share of holes before). I broke two taps in the barrel. Extraction is near impossible due to the hardend steel of the taps & the fact that taps like to snap right at the surface (leaving nothing to grab hold of). I ended up grinding for hours very carefully to maintain the thread's integrity with a diamond bit. I also had to open up the holes on the mount itself due to the larger screw heads. I suggest thread lock or super glue to hold the screws in place. Once mounted though, all was as it should be & feels quite stable.

As for the bolt handle, I mounted it per the instructions & have to say that I just don't trust it. One screw IMO doesn't have the strength for hundreds of cycles without failing & when it does, you're gonna have a fun time removing it & getting a new one in. I highly recommend finding someone who TIG welds & just have it permanently mounted.

I haven't been to the range yet to know how stable it is, but it does seem promising. Better than the ebay $20 mounts that rely on the rear sight mount (which also require the use of a pistol scope due to the large distance from your eye)."

(More customer reviews)Bought a m91 cheap, just as a first gun to toy around with after having shot a friend's milsurp rifle.I was warned that mosin's kick really hard and that a rail mounted scope wouldn't stay zeroed.I should've listened.

After three shots the hex screws which hold the rail mount to the rear sight holes started coming loose and zero was lost.Tightened them back up twice (kept losing zero), and by the third re-tightening the heads started to strip.Then the side screws that mount the rings to the rail started coming loose (mind you every screw had loctite on it.).After almost 30 shots trying to zero the damn thing, I gave up and put the iron sight back on.

The scope in and of itself provides great eye relief, clear as a bell, and would probably work just fine drilled and tapped, but using a rail system it's hopeless on something that kicks so hard.

Buyer beware.
