- Clean looking mount that runs flush against the entire length of the gun
- Covered the unsightly hole that remains when removing the rear sight
- Rail extends the entire length of the rifle, allowing for many optical configurations
Cons:
- Mounting screws can easily shear if overtightened.I did this to 2 of the 4 screws, but the remaining 2 were able to hold the mount securely in place.
- Notch for bolt handle is rather tight.There is little room for a finger to easily open/close the bolt, but this is only an issue when leaving the bolt open.
Overall I would recommend this product if you are planning on mounting any sort of long-range scope, or if you just want to cover the hole left from removing the rear sight.
