(More customer reviews)I mounted this sight on a Ruger 10/22 rifle. The reticles are clear and in dim light can obscure the target on the high setting, in bright daylight the high settings are more than adequate for aiming. The brightness nob which also houses the battery seems to have a little play in it. The reticle selector is easy to use and encountered no problems so far. Sight adjustment is easy and accomplished with a supplied allen wrench which also is used to tighted the mounting screws on the sight base. This sight has a small problem with recoil, even from a .22 caliber. It seems that the all or part of the sight reticle will not project on to the sight glass. I would have to tap the sight or move the reticle selector to the next position and then move it back for it to correct itself. I seriously doubt it would hold up to a larger caliber firearm. I gave it 3 stars because of the option you have with the red/green sights, green is definitely better in bright daylight and for what I'm using it for, punching holes in paper.
