(More customer reviews)I was looking for a fixed power simple scope for a black powder rifle. This fit the bill at a great price. The mat finish is very good, there is no reflective glare off this scope! Can't say how well it might hold up on smokeless cartridge rifles but it is working well on muzzleloader. My only complaint, and this is picky, is that this scope has a larger eyepiece than objective. In addition there is a rubber ring for focus that adds to that profile. It looks somewhat as though you have mounted it backward according to convention but it works and it's not expensive.
