- this scope is AWESOME!

first off, it's pretty big, you need the larger scope rings to mount it.. and don't buy crappy ones either, get good solid one's that will compliment this great optic.

the glass is the best I've ever looked through...seriously.i equate this to the Canon 'L' lenses i use for digital photography.it makes dusk look like day, and night look like dusk.the glowing triangle/chevron is clear and crisp in the heaviest brush, and in the twilight hours, still shines out clean and clear.You will never wonder where your cross-hairs should be.

i picked up the amber triangle, and i have to say it is the perfect color. easy to pick out in any condition, but not obnoxious like i find the green or red to be.

the 2.5x magnification is like having a 1x optic as far as field of view goes, as the large 56mm objective lens gives really sweet wide angle viewing.At the full 10x, the lens is still super clear, crisp, and bright.the scope i just replaced this for was a leuopld vx-II that i thought was a decent $400 scope,well...it looks cheap now in comparison..the leopold is nice, but looking through both side buy side, you easily see why the trijicon is worth the money.Brighter and much easier to find the aiming point of the lens.

all in all, you will not be disappointed with this scope.i have also noticed it latgely on lots of guns&ammo rifles in their magazine and the tv show.I have mine mounted on my AR-15.it gives the rifle a little more heft (as the scope isn't light), but my rifle now has good close quarters capability, but has superb long distance varminting and midrange small/mid game hunting capabilities.it is as close to having a 1x red dot scope and a long-range hunting scope all together in one brilliant package.
