This is one great spotting scope.My primary use of it is as a digiscope, in that, I've attached my Nikon 5100 Coolpix camera to the rear of it.

I'm able to get some really sharp photos with the combination.I especially like the dual focus ability.The larger knob brings the subject into pretty good focus, but the smaller knob really zooms it in - the image is real nice; tack sharp, high contrast, etc.

By buying the Vortex ED 20-60x80, I got a REAL good scope, without paying the BIG BUCKS.
