(More customer reviews)I have purchased two different BSA scopes.The first one was the 3-9x50 illuminated scope from Amazon.When I received it, I was severely disappointed in the quality of the image when the scope was illuminated.There was a large red blob in the left side of the image.So, I returned that scope, having never mounted it on my Mini-14 rifle.
As a replacement for the scope above, I purchased the BSA Huntsman 3-9x40 scope with RGB illumination.The view through the scope was much clearer when illuminated, although there is a lot of light bleed when the scope is illuminated on it's higher brightness settings.
However, this scope will not hold zero at all.On my last 3 trips to the range, I had to re-sight-in the scope, as it was off by 5-10 MOA each time.Even after each re-sight-in, my groups were much larger than when shooting with iron sights at the same distance.
I went into this purchase believing that these scopes were a good deal because of the low price, however this is a classic case of "you get what you pay for."I do NOT recommend this or any other BSA riflescope.
