(More customer reviews)I purchased this case because of the Marlin logo and the description said it would fit a scoped rifle.My hope was that it would fit my Marlin 982VS which is scoped and has a bi pod.The case didn't come close to closing and maybe it is due to the bi pod.Perhaps if there were zipper pulls on each end of the zipper you could make do with the top of the scope popping out.I then tried the fit on my scoped Model 60 and it fit fine.I am keeping the case. If your scoped rifle is on the high side, you might want to look for a bigger case.
